BLOG REVIEW 

The writing of this blog over the past month has been a rewarding yet challenging experience. It has opened my eyes to the benefits of blogging and it has taught me the importance or concisely articulating my point of view.

Challenges:

One of the main challenges associated with the blog was the extensive research required to support my arguments and my points. Finding the time to do this research and then construct the blog every week was problematic as it often meant I was allocating a lot of my time to this weekly task.

Another great challenge I encountered was being able to correctly and concisely articulate what I wanted to say in French. My first two blogs illustrated my difficulties win doing this but I hope that my subsequent blogs reflect some improvement.

Benefits:

In writing this blog, my confidence in my French increased. Being able to see myself improve and my marks increase was a real reward. It was pleasing and useful to take the feedback from my marker and use it to improve my next piece.

Improvements:

I would suggest for future students that how to use the genre for each piece is clearer, so that it is easier to understand what exactly a particular type of writing requires. Other than this, I would be happy to do the blog assignment in the future as it has definitely taught me to pay closer attention to detail in my work and has allowed me to learn how to properly express what I want to say.
